A typical session lasts 30 minutes. If it is your first time, we prefer to use a little less and ask you to return 2 weeks later for review. The treatment lasts for 3-4 months however with continual use some patients may find the results last for up to 6 months or even longer.
3. What are the risks or potential side effects of a Botulinum toxin injection?
Pain, burning, stinging, swelling or bruising. In some cases headache and muscle weakness may also occur.
4. What aftercare is required for a Botulinum toxin injection?
Avoid vigorous exercising, gyming, steam and sauna for next 2 weeks. Any facial massage or parlour activities to be withheld for atleast a week.

Botulinum toxin is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium Botulinum bacterium. It is a nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily reduce moderate to severe frown lines in the forehead, wrinkle lines around the eyes, and furrow lines around the mouth and the chin area. During treatment, very low doses of Botulinum toxin are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles that cause those stubborn lines. The treatment is usually done within minutes, and no recovery time is needed. Within days, you may see an improvement that can last up to 4-6 months.
